EGINO® high-elasticity Jersey Knit stretch fabric, 96% Cotton / 4% Elastane, with a weight of 180 g/m² (grams per square meter) is considered a “Luxury Jersey Knit Sheet". In order to keep your sheet(s) luxurious and functional, it's important to adhere to the following simple care guidelines.
140ºF or 60ºC for European Washing Machines. Do NOT wash with towels or Polyester containing fabrics as the friction could result in mechanical pilling and/or holes.
Tumble dry at low heat (not exceeding 130ºF or 55°C) at delicate cycle. Drying at higher than recommended temperatures might actually compromise the elastic component of the fabric.
Do NOT iron.
If the iron is too hot, the fabric will be ruined.
Our sheets will regain 100% of their elasticity and shape within seconds, wash after wash, without any ironing.
Do NOT use pure bleach.
Chlorine will fade or stain colors, might turn white sheets yellowish, and may even destroy the fabric itself.
Do NOT dry clean.
Elastane fibers can absorb the chemicals of the dry-cleaning solution.
All our efforts to create a skin-friendly and hypo-allergenic product would be nullified.
A Jersey knit sheet's ability to retain its original color is one of the most important properties of a textile product, expressed as Color Fastness Properties (the resistance of fading or running of our Jersey knit fabric's colors).
Soniodoro Perfetto Jersey sheets Color Fastness Properties are determined by the ISO Standard 105-A02 Greyscale as follows:
We use safe and ecologically friendly Reactive Dyes for all our brilliant sheet colors. Reactive Dyes are a group of textile colorants which form a strong covalent chemical bond between the color molecule and the cellulose of the cotton fiber itself. This covalent bond is extremely powerful and therefore results in the above mentioned great use properties. Inexpensive pigment dyes which merely sit in the surface crevasses of fibers can easily be washed out over time, fading the fabric. Reactive Dyes, in contrast, are expensive but fade resistant. This contributes to less thrown away fabrics which is beneficial for both consumers' wallet and the environment.
The following Size Guides are for Standard Mattress Sizes in the U.S. & Canada.
The Mattress Ranges, however, are due to the extraordinary stretchiness of our sheets. If your mattress is NOT a standard size, as long as its dimensions lie in between the ranges, our sheets will adjust to the exact contours of your mattress and will accommodate your bed's size perfectly.
